No problems so far...

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
My Boyfriend moved into Fairways Earlier in 2005, and I have been renting a separate apartment since about the same time and I have yet to hear about or see any of the problems mentioned before. I love My apartment...I have only seen the police here once and that was because of a domestic disturbance just before dinner(which can happen just about anywhere you go)The staff in the main office worked with me to make sure I had the place I wanted at a Price I could afford. They were very helpful in tips on the surrounding areas(grocery stores, movie theaters, etc.) and were above all VERY friendly. I did have a maintenence problem immediately upon moving in(the carpets were shampooed, however, the tenant prior had a dog and the carpets still smelled funny) I called the front desk and explained the situation. As soon as the maintenance personnal finished their current job, they headed over to my place to shampoo the carpets again(he arrived just an hour after i called). My boyfriend has also had one problem with his outlet, and a serviceman came out the next day to repair it. The new management has changed a Lot. Many of the apartments are being rennovated(as we speak there are 3 vehicles from a Restoration Company parked in front of the Office). There have been new rules on loitering, so anyone caught outside, especially at night is subject to police questioning. I have never personally had a problem with any of the people who live here. I speak frequently with everyone in my building(all of which are incredibly friendly and hospitable, even offering to help me carry in boxes from my car when I was moving in). I am a 19-year-young Female bartender and at no point have I Ever felt threatened by anyone who is here. People passing in the parking lot are never rude(most actually Smile) and being a bartender, I normally come home between the hours of 11PM and 4 AM. Now if anyone were to encounter this crazy behavior mentioned before I would think that it would be me. Like I said, the new management has made drastic turn arounds, and everyday they are working to improve the situation. I feel very safe, as a young girl Living ALONE, so you should too. I haven't encountered any rodent problems in my aparment. My Boyfriends apartment however is ground floor so he does get the occaisional spider or two. My biggest complaint would have to be that my neighbor above me has two young children that apparently eat a pound of sugar for breakfast every morning and like to run around. Which is to be expected when living in an apartment situation. Nowhere that you move is going to be 100% safe, but I believe that the safety of this area is the least of my worries. With a Baltimore County Police Department Less then 1 block away, You will have nothing to fear. And considering I am paying such a cheap price for such a big apartment, I DEFINITELY won't complain.
If anyone reading this has any other questions, or realizes that this publication is gettin outdated, feel FREE to drop me an email and ask whatever you want. I'd be more than happy to help you :)
