When I did my tour for Fairways they made it seem like it was upscale...this place is far from upscale! Our washing machine in our building broke so I called them to fix it. What did they do' Give me a number to call and have someone else come out to fix it. They said, "Oh we don't fix the washing machine. Call this number." The also sold me on the the mini marketing that delivers right to your apartment! B.S. I have been here for less than a year and I finally decided to call management and asked them what are the hours of operation for the mini market. They told me that the mini marketing has not been open for over a year and the are looking for something else to take its place. But I would like to remind you that they told me how great the mini mart was before I moved in LESS THAN A YEAR AGO!! Actually a neighbor moved in in April and they told him about the mini mart as well!! So they know EXACTLY what they are doing.
They lie to get you in there. Too bad the can't keep anyone there. One thing that I have learned about leasing is that if an apartment is offering "specials" they are having difficulty selling the apartments. I would worry about apartments that have a few specials here and there but TWO MONTHS FREE'' RUN FAR AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hee hee hee - I used to live in the Marylander in Charles Village and they had some sort of mini market for a while and it was a joke - just 2 people from Dundalk reselling stuff they bought at Costco. Also, we had a recycling room where people would place things that may be of use to other residents - well the mini market folks would grab all that stuff and sell it too. The market closed in the Marylander but maybe those people could handle the market at the Fairways - heck, get a BJs or Sams membership and maybe you could do it too :-)
