We have been living here for more than one year and we like it very much. Pros: safe place, wonderful downtown area with restaurants around the corner, very convinient for Johns Hopkins (shuttle stop in just 3-5 min), any problem we have had, was solved next day. Clean and confortable. Cons: expensive, it is getting more and more expensive so we are going to move because of that reason (parking very expensive, apartments too).
Overall: a very good place to stay if you have the money to pay it (couple etc) for location, safety and neighbourhood. If you are from out US and going to work at Hopkins, you have to check it out.
