I've been associated with goodnow for about 3 years now. First I was staying with friends, then I was added to the lease to officially live with those friends for 2 of the years. Last fall I moved up the hill into my own 2 bedroom apartment.

The good: The apartments over here are some of the most inexpensice in the area. There is plenty of parking ... it isn't always as close to your front door as one might like, but there is somewhere to park nonetheless. Its a pretty decent looking area, has sort of a park-like feel. The parkside shopping center is a short walk away, and its accesible to public transportation. The apartments I lived in were both relatively spacious for the price.

The bad ... since September,I haven't had too many bad experiences in my new place. In the past few weeks I've had ants ... big black ones, but thats about it as far as pests go. When I first got here my AC wasn't operating properly and they repaced the unit right away. Haven't seen any mice here, no big problems with the neighbors ... overall I've been content. The only complaints I have are that there's no dishwasher and the sinks are very shallow, and the cabinets and things of that nature are unnatractive and old.

Now in my old apartment we had a big mouse problem. We also had a problem with the litle tiny ants ... and it seemed that no matter how many times maintenance was called, the pests always came back. My friends are just now preparing to move out and I hear that recently there had been a problem with large waterbugs as well. I don't know what the explanation is for the difference between the 2 apartments ... so I'll just say, its not a horrible place to live for a few years, but I wouldn't settle here for life.
