What a horrible place to live.

Thankfully, our lease from this slum was up in February. This was probably the worst year of my life. Where can I even begin'
Management - rude and unprofessional. We were paying our rent online and due to an error in their computer, the wrong amount was charged to our account after a payment. So we in fact owed more. The lovely Neeka (I believe her name was) called me at work that Monday morning to tell me of the mistake. She was very apologetic and seemed pretty friendly. I told her I would gladly come in and correct their error, but my normal working hours were from 7:30 - 6:00, and I didn't like putting my checks in the drop box due to the fact their were always creepy looking people standing around (hence, why I paid my rent online). So I told her I would be there Saturday. I come in Saturday morning on my day off to pay their mistake, and she was EXTREMELY rude to me, telling me "in the future, if you bring in a payment past the 6th, it is considered late".. WHAT' For YOUR mistake'
Property - There is never anywhere to park. Yeah they send out notices where only one car is allowed in the parking lot, but they NEVER actually enforce it'
Maintenence - What a joke! We had no hot water in the middle of winter and they wouldn't come fix it until we came in and put it in writing on Monday morning. Not to mention, when we moved in our upstairs bedroom (where we kept our new baby) had a broken window!! We reported it like they said within 15 days of moving in, and you know they never came out to fix it'
Neighbors - Loud, obnoxious, scary.
Pets - READ THIS.. I wish someone would have told me this before I moved in. They charge a $200 pet FEE when you move in, plus an ADDITIONAL fee of 25/ month for your pet. Comes to $500 per year. And this is non-refundable, and it DOESN'T COVER ANY DAMAGES. So if your carpet is messed up, you still have to pay on top of the fee you put down. I wasn't made aware of this when I signed my lease, and upon trying to talk to the manager about this "Cindy Bertoni" she was extremely rude and told us she was "going to hang up on you now, bye." I'm in the process of talking to her boss now, that is if she calls back. Sawyer seems to be an awful company to deal with.
I could go on and on about the things wrong with this place. It's horrible, don't live here! We're a new couple starting out and this was the worst decision we ever made. I'm in a new townhome that's MUCH better now in Glen Burnie, we even didn't have to clean the blood off the wall when we moved in (like we did in Highland village).

I forgot to mention, AFTER they screwed up our online payment, made us come in to fix their mistake and were rude to us becuase of it, they also disabled our online account and we couldn't use it anymore, without telling us.
