I would not recommend my worse nightmare to rent from this property! Let's see where shall I start'' First and formost if your going to pay the amount that they are asking then they need to make it worth your wild! What's the difference if you have a exhaust fan over your stove, and in your bathroom, and you have a cheap imitation of wood cabinets in your kitchen' That's the question that I ask!! They charge you 863.00 a month if you have that in your home, and 2 doors down it's 699.00 a month, and there is no fan's and or cabinets...What a Rip Off!! And you better hope that you don't have to call maitnance because they have no clue of what to do, none of which are certified to do that type of work, and if they are my suggestion GO BACK TO TRADE SCHOOL!! God forbid if something breaks down because they will not replace it with new, or barely used they will just find something to rig it up,and that is suppose to be okay with you! And your suppose to call this home...your suppose to feel safe, and secure in your home not praying everynight that you wake up the next morning, and or if you leave whether it be to go to work, school, or just running some errands that your house is not burned to the ground!! If you have children better hope that they can entertain themselfs because there is absolutely nothing for them to do, yes they have playgrounds but if you alow them to play near drugdealer's and such..then your good to go! It's a shame that you can't open your windows when your not home to let some good air come in because then you would have to worry about whether or not the low lifes that don't have a job that live in the community don't take it upon themselves to break into your home, and rob you blind, and make sure that you lock all doors, and close all windows in your car because if you have anything of value it will walk!! Not to mention the cats that are booted out of the home because they don't want them, or they allow them to rome the neighborhood and then what happens they sit on your car, and scratch it all up becasue they decided to use it as a scratching post...Shouldn't someone be held responsible for this'' It's not right that I (we) have to work my ass off to have good things, and have a community cat or cat's destroy your things! And as far as the ladies in the rental office...THEY HAVE NO CLUE... These folks are a total rip off, please head my warning! I will not be renewing my lease!!

I agree that the place sucks, I lived there about 10 years ago for 2-3 years if I recall correctly. But complaining about cats sitting on your car? That's pretty silly.
Also, "your" and "you're" are two different words, perhaps you could learn to use them properly?

In September 4th 2009, I received a notice from the Highland Village stating that they would not accept my personal check that I used in paying my September house rent since August 27th 2009 and the notice further states that I should stop by at the Office to pick up the check.
In response to the notice, I went to my bank the following day which was September 5th (Saturday) 2009 at 11 Am and withdrew the sum of $640 for the rent and utility bill. Evidently the copy of the Bank money order and the receipt reflects the actual date of the transaction (September 5th 2009) I submitted the money on the same day to the management office drop box at 3 PM. The office was closed for the weekend and so there was no one at the office to issue me a receipt as I have not been issued receipt in the past.
On Wednesday September 23rd 2009, I receive a notice from the Highland Village management stating that I have a ??small outstanding balance of $27.56??. The notice did not state what the balance was for. Enclosed is a copy of the notice that I received from the Highland Village management.
I called Highland Village the next day September 24th (Thursday}at 4:00 PM and spoke with your team member posited to be a high-ranking member of your company who was not only rude and unprofessional, but verbally abusive. She was not interested in resolving the issue with me. I consider her action and the action of the management to be nothing less than fraud and a revenge mission because in the past, I made known to the State Attorney, the deadly carbon monoxide linkage in my rental property that nearly claimed my life and that of my family due to the negligence and disrespect of the Property management. I was diagnosed with shortage of oxygen as a result and I had to call the fire service department and obtained a public report to that effect from the County??s records.
I do not owe the highland village any money. I paid my rent in time and it was not my fault that you did not work on Saturday the 5th of September. Kindly update your record and respond to this notice. I will like to see this resolved out of court before October 5th 2009.
