As I was told, all the apartments were the same, and there are only four apartments per building. Each building is secure, which I liked. In order to get in you have to use your key or get buzzed in.
As far as noise, I lived in a generally quiet building, however there were times when my neighbors played loud music. I could hear my neighbors in the next building though.
As far as space, it was a nice sized apartment. There were hardwood floors in the living room, and there was a huge kitchen, with washer dryer hook-ups. Unfortunately I think it was poorly insulated, and we had a problem with mice. There were exterminators that came regularly, however the problem was never really solved. Parking really wasn't an issue unless there was a party, and at times I would get blocked in. I also heard that if you parked on the street your car may get broken into.
I had a relatively decent experience at Hillside. It wasn't until my last year that I learned that it was in a bad area. I never knew because I never had any issues.
All in all, it wasn't too bad for the price, and if I could I would live there now if there weren't income requirements.
