I lived at the Horizon House for four years. In that time I had a few problems. First and foremost, it is a bit more money than other places. This would be fine, as we thought we would be safer and things would be better kept.

The inside of the community is for the most part safe. This being said, there are frequent people whistling up to the fourth floor for i dont know what.. I will leave that to you to decide. Also, there are frequent breakins into the 711 downstairs. Prostitutes also are a very very common sight.

I was most upset when things broke and were fixed weeks later. The best two examples would be the "secured" parking garage that sat open, with the door broken for about a month. Also our sink was backing up sewage. It was finally fixed when I personally took some of the filth and showed it to the property manager.

Finally, what made me write this, management put me into collections for charges after we left. I never missed a rent check, they were ALWAYS on time. The charges were only brought to my attention 7 days before they were placed in collections. Their actions border on unethical and illegal.
