Based on my personal experiences in the past year, I will not be renewing my lease. At one time, Horizon House had a whole bunch of competent staff. However, many of them left and the new staff are just a bunch of morons. It seems that with the new staff, nothing ever gets done, and they are quite moody and obnoxious. Many of my neighbors have already expressed that they are unhappy with the new staff.

There is also an increase in crime in the area, including muggings and car vandalisms. In broad daylight, prostitutes will even hang out on the corner of Chase and Calvert. The only good thing about Horizon House is its location. Rent is too expensive, parking is a nightmare, and the neighborhood is going down the tubes.

Yes. Male prostitutes I confront in the lobby and in the elevators. I totally agree. One daytime front desk clerk doesn't like to move her ass. She had my FedEx package and she asked me to collect it from the next shift person. They don't even greet/smile. They forget their pay check is coming from the rent we pay!
