You won't find a better place to live in Baltimore. We couldn't afford our own home, but looked for a place that would feel like a home, in a beautiful setting, quiet, with excellent management that we could count on. We found everything we wanted at Ivymount. We were living at a lovely old place near Johns Hopkins University, but wanted a place with more room to raise children...a place with grass and trees and fresh air. It turns out that we gave birth to twins, much to the displeasure of the tenant below us. The management went out it's way to soundproof our floor, both for our comfort and that of the other tenant. Tenants are encouraged to make the place their own by keeping lovely gardens that enhace the beauty of the grounds, so it's not the typical repetative landscaping. Maintenance was exemplory. If there was a problem (e.g. broken dishwasher), it was repaired before you arrived home from work. If you were there long term, routine maintenance and painting was done on a regular basis. Upgrades were the commonplace, so the place just kept getting nicer. The management and staff would bend over backwards to accommodate even the slightest request (before moving in, while there, and upon departure). We moved ONLY because we wanted a single home for our family. It's been a few years since we moved, but we still have friends there, live nearby and visit, and the management and its good reputation is the same. We hope you love the place as much as we did.
