It is indeed interesting to read some of the views regarding Ivymount. After having several negative experiences in renting, i thought Ivymount would be different. My rental agent at the time was a gem. She was personable and well liked, but soon after I moved in she disappeared. Management is not amenable to family or financial crises as one might expect when dealing with a business, but things happen. Very little flexibility is provided in certain situations and it seems that anyone who visits or stays beyond a week or so is subject to a credit background check.
The sharpness in which the property manager speaks leaves one desiring a cell in Alcatraz. Not what I expected for a lovely and serene spot in Baltimore. You can believe some of the other comments. It seems to depend on if you are qell liked by the staff to receive exemplary service, customer or otherwise.
If you are seriously considering Ivymount, ask for current and past tenant references and use wisdom. Your experience may not be like someone else's but, if it smells bad or you sense something in your gut, go with that feeling.
I have lost neighbors as if they move out under the cover of night. What's frightening is that is the same way I would like to leave. Proceed with caution...
