My 2 biggest complaints are POOR MAINTENANCE & THE TRASH SITUATION. You can see every patch work that was done to repair something. Maintenance does not care how they leave your place looking after repairs. They don't smooth or sand walls after having repairs, for example: I had a leak from my toilet that dripped to the ceiling, they repaired the pipe and had to spackle and paint the area in the ceiling, well it looks a hot mess. They came to replace my thermostat and the one they replaced had a shape that went width-wise the new length-wise, they didnt bother to patch the area around it where there's a hole from the old thermostat and deep indentations. Neighbors place trash bags around dumpsters instead of in them even though there is plenty of room. I can't believe how grown people do. Common sense says that attracts rodents as well as bugs and not to mention cats who tear open bags and leave trash scattered around. I lived in Jamestowne for 3 years and it continously got worse. The only way I got a maintenance person to respond to my concerns was to stick my head out the door when I saw them walking by. The leasing staff have always been horrible. Whenever they got a good staff in place Mid-Atlantic would send them to one of their other poor properties. My family is originally from that area for over 40 years and I remember as little girl what Jamestowne use to be like. Time and generations has truly let that place deplore.
