My husband and I have been living here at kenilworth at perring parkway for the past year now. I must say that our experience here so far has been a terrible one. I donot even know where to begin when it comes to the complaint list. First and formost, when we first came to rent this apt. I specifically asked the leasing agent if there were anything besides our electricity that we will be responsible for, and we were told no. Then came the big shocker one day I saw a bill came from aum for said amt. of dollars. I called the rental office and they instructed me that it was for our water bill. That SUCKS!!!. Secondly, I stressed to the leasing agent that a building with laundry facility is very important to me yet we were placed in a building that has no facility in it and has to go next door to get our laundry done or go to the outside laundry mat. With two young children that is a very huge inconvenience for me. You would think that they would have at least upgraded their community like all other communities are doing , but that seems as if it is almost impossible for them to do here. We've moved from a very upscale community to here and now I have regreted my decision because I thought that kenilworth will delivered what they said they will delivered. The noise level is ridiculous, the maintainence is horrible, the carpets in the hallways are so disgusting that i am so embarrassed to bring anyone here for even a quick visit. I am ashamed to call here my community home. The only good thing about this apt. is the separate dining area. My dining set for the first time has been able to be in the same room. But the rest of the house poor S__t. The paint is all stripping because there are paint- over paint and it is too thick and so it is falling apart. I've contacted management several times about that issue but yet still waiting their arrival. I am so sick and tired of living here that i cannot wait for my lease to be up to get out of this hell hole. I would never recommend anyone to this community simply because the management here is poor and they donot deliver what they promise. When you visit the rental office and the community surround the rental office, you are wowed, but when you move into your actual apartment, then you are oh my god what is this. They need to have some nice landscaping done here, and keep the community looking tidy so that other tenants can enjoy what they are actually paying for. I am so disgusted by this community that I no longer wish to comment on it. Overall ratings from me for this apartment complex would be 0. It's a very disgusting place to live........PERIOD

I totally agree. You need to submit your complaints in writing to the office and also send a copy to CRC. I am 1/2 way into my second year (not sure what was going through my head when I resigned my lease) and things get worse by the day. Noisy neighbors, dirt and crime ...what a lovely place to live!

I appreciate your comment and I'm glad I visited this website before I put in an application for me and my family to lease there. I already live in a crummy complex "Arbor Station Apts." in Parkville and I do not want to move from BAD to WORSE!!
