I have lived in this apartment community since spring 2006 and I am ecstatic that my lease is up soon...I am running from this community. When I first moved here it was okay but with each month it has gotten increasingly worse. Here is my list of problems:

Buildings: my building is nasty. Maintenance never cleans it..The carpets are so filthy in the hallways that I am ashamed to have ANYONE visit. It stinks in my building and there is always trash in the hallways. I constantly have to call the management office to sweep or vacuum. They claim that the hallway carpets will be replaced soon but it has yet to happen.

Laundry room: always smells bad and the machines are OLD. There are only two settings to wash clothes..no delicate cycle at all. I normally wash my work clothes in a delicate cycle and there is no option for that. The machines are extremely loud and there is no change machine.

Apartment: my actual apartment is nice and spacious. With over 750 square feet for a 1 bedroom it is comfortable. My only complaint is last year, I had a major problem with termites. For months they were in my bedroom and I called the management office every day. The exterminator claimed that it was normal to have the "swarmers" in the spring and after constanty complaining, they finally decided to cough up the money necessary to get the building treated. Last year they were supposed to replace the wood paneling in my bedroom and to date they have never done it.

Neighbors: my neighbors are totally inconsiderate. My next door neighbor has a son that leaves his dirty sneakers outside the apartment in the hallway. During the spring/summer, they run around, completely unsupervised throwing berries and tracking more dirt into the dirty halways.

Parking Lot/Dumpster: My dumpster is ALWAYS overflowing and during the spring/summer/fall, there are tons of RATS in the lot. I was soo embarrased to have company who asked me about it wondering if the rats would go under her car and chew through wires.

i have many more complaints, but i'll end here..The community has gone down over the 2 years i've been here and they had the nerve to increase my rent by almost $30...I wouldn't mind the increase if the managmenet was good and it was a nice community but it sucks. The apartments are cheap..When I moved here, I was paying $750..but the bottom line is you get what you pay for!!! Don't move here..you will very quickly regret it.
