Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I lived here for a year before I relocated to shorten my commute. The area was quiet and neighbors were friendly. The apartment size was great, almost too much space really. The carpeting was brand new when I moved in. I only have a few complaints:
1. The bathroom was terribly ugly. Pink tiles, pink toilet...yuck. But it was clean.
2. SPIDER CRICKETS!!! I absolutely hate these things and in the winter I found a spider cricket everyday. I am terrified of bugs, so this was terrifying for me.
3. The heating was in the winter was a joke. I slept in sweats and used a big down comforter every night...it was that cold.
4. The refrigerator was soooo gross when I first moved in. I had to give it a good scrub down...eeeew!
Other than that I had no other issues. When it comes to apartment living I try not to raise the bar too high, especially when you live in an apartment where the rent is so cheap. You're going to hear your neighbors every now and again, and there will always be a drug dealer or a drug user living somewhere in your complex. There are drug dealers in nice neighborhoods too! My main concern is safety, no rodents, no mold, no roaches, and no peeping toms. I never felt unsafe (and I would come home from work late at night), and I never saw any rodents or roaches (trust me I would have been out of there fast if I had seen any of those). gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
