Okay--firstly, these apartments look really nice, the price is great for the space you get, and the management is very nice and cooperative. They give a military discount, and accept payment by direct deposit. All these things are great.
However...
The "Secure" complex is not so secure. Any time the guard leaves the gate to do "security checks" (whether or not this is actually what they do) they leave the gates wide open. Anyone can drive on in, no checks, no record of them being there, nothing. It's not hard to get in in the first place, but at least going through the gate they write down the name and vehicle information for all visitors.
On top of that, parking is very difficult to find late at night. I often have to park on the other side of the complex from my building. If there are no parking spaces, creative parking is not recommended--the complex will tow your car and it'll cost you ($200 or more).
Also, the rent has raised twice since I started living here.
