"More BAD than GOOD"

When taking a tour of the display apartment, and the surrounding area; I was relatively pleased however with a slight sense of apprehension. The area seemed too nice for good price (with utilities included in a farely low rent one cannot complain). However when finally moved in, there was a major roach problem (without exageration). I decided to look into the issue and realized the poor construction of the apartments. Behind the stove in the kitchen there is a 2 foot long hole where the gas line comes in that i decided to seal. And looking behind other appliances ie. Dish washer, refrigerator; There was some sealing i had to do, not to mention the bath room as well. Countless times i had entered my bathroom and encountered two inch roaches. But that problem was shortly resolved with 3 packs of COMBAT roach poison. The tenants upstairs are extrememly heavy set, every single foot step taken can be heard. Not to mention their children that are CONSTANTLY rampaging about.Especially in the late evening hours. One can whisper and it be heard through the thin sheet rock walls of the apartment. I question the purpose of the front gaurds. When they are not posted anyone can just drive right in. So why even have them there...' I also caught on to how they advertise a gym when all it is, is a small room no bigger than a walking closet with a treadmill and ONE work out machine. However the area is nice in the summer. The neighbors from what i have gathered are pleasant except at times i feel as if i have been placed in a "ghetto" section of the complex. And i say this in reference to what look like to me as little "hoodlum" children of some of the tenants. I hate to come home and see six to ten miniature "thugs" sitting in front of the building and i have to wait for them to get up so i can walk through. On another note there is ample storage space, and based on a tight budget would consider this place economically beneficial to live in.
