I lived there for about a 1 1/2 years! I loved how they had a huge pool, small but cute little gym, but the only thing with the gym was it was right next to the leasing office so you couldn't get all loud with the music while working out! The little pinic area was cool and they had a playground but I didn't have any kids but it still looked nice for the kids to play on! Let's see the pier..I loved it! Becuase I love to go fishing but the bed thing about the pier was..well here's what happen to me and my finance! One night we went out to the pier to go fishing and key landing had cops that walk around at night I guess it's a samll part-time job for them when they are off duty! But at 9pm we were out there fishing and they told us we couldn't be out there that late..geezz 9pm..wow! But I understood why after what happened a couple months later. A little boy was riding his scooter on the pier..(they had not had the pier fenced on our anything. but the little boy fell into the water and drowned and died! Poor little boy I think he was only like 9/10 years old! Then you were also not allowed to sit on the steps in front of your apartments, I mean I get that too I guess becuase they didn't want you to be in anyones way, but Im respectful so I would have moved!! ha! But I'll keep going! So the off duty police were great iot makes ya feel safe and I love how they cred everyone who wants to come into the apartment community who was ot a resident, they would card everyone in the car!! And they would ask the people what address and apartment numbert they were going, if they didnt know the security people would call you to see if you knew the people trying to get in or not! So no crazy people could get in! If you lived there you had your own entrance and swipie card to get through! It's a fenced in community! The apartments itself are much larger than regualr apartments. But they would charge you an extra 50$$ or up for a patio depending where at your building was and if it were facing the water or not! I had ants but if you live there the water your going to have ants, big deal you can get rid of them!! But no roaches or mice! I did have a big black snake crawling on the outside of our building though! what else... no bad or noisy kids or neighbors, at least not in my building..which i lived in 2001 Paulette Rd. Mantince was great and on top there game. "B" was on of my favorite mantnice guys! Plus everytime they came into your apartment they had to sign the key out of the leasing office when they took the key and put it back and they would always leave you a note in your place stating when they arrived and when they left and what they fixed! Parking...Parking was the WORST!! Your family or freinds had to park all the way dopwn by the leasing office, and it was a pain if you lived far away from the leasing office! And that parking lot only had about 20 spaces! Which was nothing! And if you didnt park in the "guest parking lot" and you didnt have a sticker on your car for being a resident there... YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED AND IT COAST ABOUT $$350 AND THEY WILL TOW IT ALLLLL THE WAY TO GREENMOUNT AVE. WAY WAY DOWN IN THE DEEP DARK NASTY CITY!! believe me it happen to my friend! But we left b/c the jack the rent up really really high! When I was there I was paying $850month for a two bedroom plus ulities included..not bad AT ALL but now a 2 bedroom goes for about $900-1,000/month'!'!!! CRAZY!! but over all I would def. reccommend this place as your new home!!!
