The only reason that I moved to LRVA was because I was trying to escape another apartment complex. Don't get me wrong, the apartment in LRVA was not crappy or anything but the response to my complaints about things that should have been fixed after I went over the move-in inspection sheet & complained to the leasing office were never addressed.

On move in day, my mother noticed several cracks in the walls that needed to be spackled and I found that I had a leak in the kitchen. The leak they took care of relatively quickly & so were the cracks, sort of. I say sort of because after they came & spackled, they never came back to paint. I had 4 big gray spackle marks in my bedroom. I moved in April 2003 & moved out August 2003. As far as I know they're still there.

I left a complex that charged me $495 & was going up to $515 but I had a garbage disposal, CAC & a den. As I said before, I did escape for other reasons but LRVA doesn't offer ANY of those amenities & they still charged me $650 a month!!!!!
