I had been a resident at LRV for nearly three years, and only moved due to a military assignment. The community is older, and with this comes issues to be expected-just as with older homes, but overall, in my experience, if you kept up with cleaning, and reported any issues to the the office, they were properly attended to. I have no idea what anyone is talking about when they say the maintenance staff look like drug addicts, I don't find that to be the case, and they are all extremely friendly. I never felt uncomfortable having any of them in my apartment (a very important factor). I also never experienced any parking problems.
It's important to remember that this is not a brand-new apartment complex-if you are looking for that, you probably won't like these, but if your main concern is a safe, affordable place to live Loch Raven Village is great!
