We originally moved here from New York, and after living here for 2 months, we broke the lease because we had to get out. Between the constant smell of gas from the stove, to the extensive amounts of mold in the bedroom and living room the two months we put up with were a living hell. Also, because our apartment was at the end of the building it took on average of 4-6 minutes to get hot water when taking a shower, or doing the dishes, and the heat was a nightmare. Our apartment, again at the end of the building, has not yet had heat and we have resorted to space heaters and extra blankets. The bedroom is the coldest, and weve ended up sleeping in the living room on the floor so as we wouldnt freeze to death over night.
Overall, this apartment is great if you have someone to stay with during the winter months, and youre a pro at cleaning. Between the shody heat to the difficult traffic, this was a nightmare. Dont do it.
