Good for college students...I guess

The first two years living in this complex were great, however, I must agree with everyone that the new management sucks. Which is why I chose to break my lease halfway through the third year.

First off the new staff was very rude there is a lady in her 30s with brown hair that is the spawn of satan and made it a horrible experience paying rent or puting in work requests.

I put in a large list of maintenance requests (toilet not working, bath tub faucet leaking, not enough water pressure to run the shower, hole in the hardwood floor, leaking kitchen sink, roaches, mice, broken fan in kitchen which was stuck in the on position, mold in the bathroom, broken lock on the door and probably a few more). Of all the requests on only three occassions did anyone actually come to look at the problem and only once was the problem actually fixed. Which after they tried to fix my sink and toilet I did not mind so much. When trying to fix my toilet they broke the pipe running to the toilet and leaked some foul smelling sewage water which actually smelled better than the sludge that they left under my sink with a missing pipe...which they never came back with so I had to go to Home Depot and replace it myself.

There has been constant construction (new carpeting in hallways, buzzers on doors, light fixtures, reparing of cracked mortar) all of which they have not completed before starting a new project. And after 3 months none have been finished in my building.

I love dogs and they allow large ones in the complex, however there is no policy for picking up after them so on multiple occasions I have stepped in large piles of dog crap and tracked it into my apartment.

I always thought the grounds were very safe the only crime was that my laundry would get stolen from the washing machines. That was until my roommate's girlfriend was robbed at gun point litterally outside our apartment door. After the robbery we told the BIZZUTO people in the office what happened, thinking that they might want to warn other residents, they laughed at us saying that it was unfortunate and did nothing as far as warning.

Because there are a lot of collge kids in the complex you can have a lot of noise at certain times but it all depends on where you get an apartment, because the other side of the complex (away from the main office) is very quite.

Parking has gotten better but I attribute that more to people moving out of the complex than to anything the BIZZUTO company has done.

Overall I would say only move here if you are in college because it is a good transition between the dorms and what an apartment complex should be. It is nice to have the utilities included but not nice enough with this new company. I suggest looking around to Cockeysville a lot nicer apartments for the same price or less. Oh yeah also if you do decide to move here buy LOTS of boric acid for the roaches and glue traps for the mice and rats...but dont worry too much the rats usually stay outside of the apartments.
