Most of the reviews on here are bad but personally I've never had any problems here. I kept my apartment clean and never had any problems with mice, roaches or mould. Yes, I have seen rats from time to time on the grounds near the skips but they have taken action on that recently laying rat poison and they also got all of the apartments treated by an exterminator. Yes, its true, they do control the heat but I was always roasting. The windows are all new and the window air conditioning unit was able to keep my apartment cool in summer. All of my maintinance requests were actioned pretty quickly. I live near the Glen Keith end of the apartments and its nice and quiet, the laundry rooms were kept pretty well maintained and there were no apparent problems with noise, loitering or visible drug use. Also there is ample parking at this side of the complex. All in all, I think Loch Raven Village was excellent value for money. I think the one area they could improve would be to refinish the wood floors as mine was pretty scuffed and worn and a bit unattractive. Also, the buzzer system which they installed recently has never worked so I always have to run down and open the door to admit guests.

I am not someone who was ever employed by the company. My name is Jennifer Hughes and if you care to google me, I am an employee at the University of Sydney in Australia now. I lived at Loch Raven while I was working at Hopkins. I think with Loch Raven, the area of the apartments you live in has a huge effect on the experience you will have. I also think your expectations and personal level of cleanliness as well as who you have as neighbours there will colour your experience. I think a lot of people on here don't understand that it is YOUR responsibility to keep your apartment clean, fee of mould and rodents.

wow you have to work for them! i moved in and we had mold and they took care of it and we have mold again and i am a very clean person thank you very much!
