i have lived here for about 4 years and i must say it has been less than pleasureable. along with the long laundry list of repairs never made, which include moldy bathroom wall w/ a hole, cracking walls, mildewed ceiling in living room, and most recently mice, the staff is reluctant to respond to any tenant compliants. i had to wait almost half a year to get the hole in my shower fixed. its a nightmare to take out the trash at night, and the laundry facility is poorly upkept and the machines never work. i really feel secure with the new locks on the outside doors that dont work, ours were broken the first week. parking on loch raven is a nightmare, i usually have to park on the next block if i get in after six. the grounds are manicured expect for the large amounts of very visible dog poo left. winters are especially fun with no heat, meanwhile you bake to death in the summer. all in all i would not recommend this place to anyone not even an enemy.

Why dont you move somewhere else , I am sure you would be a lot happier and make a lot of other people happier too! So BYE!!!!

loch raven village have their employees hard at work again. Yes, maybe she should move, but everything she has said is true! This place is a filthy gutter that charges way too much to be as nasty as it is! With all of the units in that complex and all of the money that they charge for rent, there is no reason for those filthy azz laundry rooms with broken machines. There is no reason why maintenance is not up to par. There is no reason why a tenant should have to clean up the hallway of a building because the people getting paid to do it don't show up! There is no reason that people should have to be afraid to get up and go to the bathroom at night because you're afraid of having a mouse run across your feet! What would make everyone happy is loch raven village apartments giving their tenants the service and respect they deserve for the money that they pay every month.

I'm sorry...but most lease contracts aren't four years long...If you are so unhappy why stay??? Even more importantly, if this is your "home" why bad mouth it? There are several apartments in the area for a one and two bedroom place that are between 700-900 monthly. ---Update--- I had originally wrote this comment. Yes, I agree that things are horrible here ( I lived here for 6 months and left) I never said things were good. All I said was if your unhappy year after year, and NOTHING changes than its like being in an abusive relationship---No its not your fault, but you contunue to put yourself in that position, than you are just part of the proble. MOVE if you are unhappy
