They haven't fixed this and it's been a month.
I know there are a bunch of nasty reviews for Loch Raven. If you aren't too skiddish then most of them are tolerable with the price. I've lived here for a year and haven't had too much trouble until my ceiling caved in.
I've been told so many things by the office. One leasing agent will say one thing while another says different. And then they will have to ask the property manager and he will say the exact opposite. Word of advise, if you do decide to live here everything they tell you, have it in writing. For example, when I went to sign my lease for my studio apartment they told me the rent, which was 75 higher a month then they advertised. Then, when I moved into a studio apartment and they told me I could upgrade to a two or three bedroom and keep the same lease. When it came that time, I had to sign a whole different lease. Then I overheard the conversation that I could have actually kept the same lease.
Now, I've been told they will fix my ceiling which has mold all in the ceiling. Instead they just covered it up and didn't actually remove the mold. My room mates and I are sick. The maintenance supervisor even said it had been building up for years now. So i went and talked to the property manager here who told me that he would have mold inspection out and I called a couple of days later and he forgot all about it, had to pull my file up and said that he didn't know when they'd be out and he had other priorities.
I talked with other leasing offices and they laughed at the lease's MOLD CLAUSE. Looking back on the whole situation, that should have been one thing that caught my eye and I should have gone else where. There are better apartments with washer and dryers for cheaper and more privacy in White Marsh and Essex.
My advise, don't make my mistake. I am not exaggerating this at all.

GROSS! Call the Housing Dept and file a complaint. They should raze that place. My Mom lived there in the EARLY SIXTIES! Time to rebuild!

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I agree with "dindygirl"; you need to file a complaint. I would also take them to court and request that the judge have your rent put in escrow until repairs are made. Talk to a renters' advocate representative ASAP.
