I have read many of these reviews and I must say that the majority of the reviews are negative. This would tend to come from the fact that the bad sticks out more than the good.....that being said here are both togheter:

Good:
-The aparments are amazingly classy
-The exposed brick and high cielings are stunning
-The rent is realitivly reasonable for the location
-The building is secure
-The office staff is very nice and helpful
-The rooftop deck/ other southern ammenties are pretty nice

Bad:
-Fire engine noise, street noise, fire engine noise, alley noise, fire engine noise, basically you will hear sirens non-stop at all hours of the day.
-There is a strip club on the corner (which is good) but leads to some shaddy people around.
-Utilites are not included and parking can be expensive
-Cell phones have poor services

So there you have it, the good with the bad. I have lived there for a year now, and have just signed a lease to move to another Southern Management apartment. It is ironic but the place I am moving to has worse ratings that this one. All in all, check it out for yourself before you let anyone else influence you, but do beware of the noise from the firestation next door.
