Not so bad - near lots of good stuff

When I lived there I had no problem with the garage doors like some people are having today - that reserved spot was great and always there for me. Just make sure you do not get the spot next to the hot water heater - it seems to break a lot and they make you move for the repair equipment. I permanently had my spot moved and had no problems after that.
The walls are thin so be careful. I had the misfortune of living next to some guy who would leave town and his alarm clock (radio) would go off at full blast and run all weekend. The front desk would do nothing about it. Luckily that guy got evicted for not being able to pay his rent.
I really liked the laundry room there - at least when I lived there the door worked and it was open 24 hours a day. I liked to do it late late Saturday night. Lots of machines available.
I had a cat at the time so maybe he ate some of the roaches (cats were not allowed at least then) but I saw maybe 2 or 3 small ones a month - mostly near the kitchen sink. Not pleasant but liveable. Maybe for that reason (cat) I never had a mouse problem either.
Front desk would hold my packages for me which was nice. I also enjoyed walking to shops along St. Paul street. At the time I worked at JHU so the commute could not be beat.
The shops within the building itself left much to be desired (1996) so be careful today. The convenience store was run by people who also set up at local flea markets and they sold like 7 kinds of laxative. The foods they sold looked old. The restaurant that was there was open 1 day and then never again. The hair salon fried my hair so I had to get it all cut off. Never tried the barber shop but heard decent things about it. Is that yoga clinic still there' LOL P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
