Loved the retro look of the archway. Nice wood floors. Lots of windows. Kitchen & bathroom good size considering the overall size of the apartment which isn't bad really. I liked the crank out windows. One warning. GET A TOP FLOOR APARTMENT!! I lived on the middle floor & had several horribly noisy upstairs neighbors. Carpets are not required (which is nice as a tenant), but not nice as a downstairs neighbor. There were jerks upstairs that had a baby that just constantly pounded on the floor. The residents after that were a young couple with a large dog that they let run back & forth all day long. I could handle being able to hear talking, TV, even loud music to an extent, but the thumping was awful. Even with headphones on to block out the sound, I could feel it. This was the final reason for me moving out. That & the rent kept going up. Started at $440 & would've been $600 if I had stayed a year. Couldn't afford to have the rent keep going up.
You will need to buy an A/C unit yourself.
My electric bill was always low even after I broke down & got the A/C. Gas is included which runs the heat, stove, & hot water.
I NEVER had problems with roaches & I am a huge nasty slob. I saw 1 or 2 mice, but I had 3 cats so that didn't end up being a problem.
Nice staff. Nice maintenance. Gave me back my WHOLE security deposit back & I didn't even really clean up at all. That alone makes this a fantastic community.
