For the most part, these apartments were ok. The rent was pretty reasonable for a two bedroom - that is until they jacked it up at a lease re-newal. Maintenance responded quickly when they were needed. Weird things about this place:
1) One washer and dryer for two buildings.
2)No dumpsters! Trash room was in the laundry room, which stunk to high heaven all the time. I am just glad that we did not live in the same building as the dumpster room.
3)Manager at the office was very cold and pretty rude at times, Judy I believe her name is.

Now for the really bad parts:
1) We broke our lease due to purchasing a house and needed out early. Had to pay a 2 month's worth 'penalty' to break out of the lease.
2)They sent us a letter stating that we damaged the carpet from wear and left cat urine stains when we didn't own a cat. So now they are requesting $700 to replace a carpet that was stained since before we moved in. BTW, we took a black light and found hundreds of pet stains throughout the apt a few months after we moved in, we were disgusted, but never mentioned this to the office.

Bottom line, this place WILL try and get every last penny they can from you. Oh and we are NOT paying for a replacement carpet since by law, apt rental places are supposed to replace the carpet every two tennants.

I agree with this resident. Judy is rude and money hungry. If you happen to rent with another person, make sure that you completely trust this person because they will allow, although it is illegal for a roommate to pay the break lease fee and leave the other roommate with the full amount of the lease.

Why are you surprised that you had to pay 2 months worth of rent when you broke your lease???? You are not special.... You would have to at any apartment complex you live in. I never had any issues with Judy...Maybe if she didn't have to deal with stupid people like you, she wouldn't be so "cold and rude". If you had an issue with the apt. you should have reported on the form that they give you on move in day.... Last comment is not true. I moved in with a roommate and after 10 months I wanted to break the lease. I was not allowed to break the lease until I paid the 2 months worth of rent and my roommate was than not reasonable.

wow, anonymous was busy on 7/25/08 looks like they went through and made excuses for all the negative feedback on the same day. I think this apartment comples tries to get most people to pay for damage they didn't commit assuming the tenants don't keep good records. they tried to get me to pay for new carpet as well until I showed them that the stains they were claiming i made were notated very clearly on my move in form. I've said it before and I'll say it again. They'll try and get you wherever they can.
