Depends on what part of the complex you're in!!

We've lived at PHA for almost 2 years but had to recently transfer from a ground level to a mid level. The apartment we were in at first was in the more recently built part of the complex and was absolutely wonderful. However, where we are now is a part of the originally built part and it is far LESS DESIRABLE than where we were. The bathroom has an old "confetti" tiled floor and a mint green (yes mint green!) tub! The AC unit sits outside the bedroom window and it rattles horribly loud before it actually turns on. The water pipes from the apartment above us rattle loud enough to wake us from our sleep so we have to get up and close the bathroom door (as thats where we hear it the loudest) and make sure the AC is on so that hum can drown out the pipe noise. The closet space is smaller and has less space to actually hang clothes and the storage/laundry room is overcrowded with trash cans (and sometimes trash) and has inadequate lighting making it a little scary and dungeon-like! Just make sure you live in the NEWER part of the complex or you will regret it!! TRUST ME!!
