these apts. could be very nice. they are convenient to public transportation, stores, and could be very attractive. however, they need new, strong management. management that can do something without New Jersey interferring. Since I moved in we have lost a lot and gained nothing: lost trash pick-up, free gas, good maintenance. The best maintenance person is moving on to a better job after 20 some years. Now what will we get. The dumpsters are always running over, and no one on the week-ends come out to clean around them. The halls are not cleaned often enough. Balconies still have clothing, etc. on them, not used just for a patio with patio furniture, but stored objects. The management cannot run this large complex sitting behind the desk all day. You must get out and check on grounds, hallways, trash, etc. Sidewalks are broken, and have been for months. At least give us something back. The rent continues to go up. Gas meters put in, but some not properly and safely. The smell of gas is apparent in some apartments. I know of a lady who cleans her apartment bldg. because the workers do a poor job and she gets tired of telling the rental office. If you can help it, don't move in. The comments are from residents still here. However, there was a tenant's association at one time, but it dissolved and New Jersey does not another one to take place. WHY' You figure it out!!
