With the current "sale" looming it is difficult to consider the alternatives to RFA. My experience as a tenant since January 2000 is that the apartments are that last remnants of reasonably affordable housing in the greater Towson area. Many of the neighbors we have come to know are in similar situations which is a stay at home mom raising one to three children and a husband working for JHU, which does not pay a great deal, just enough to rent at Rodgers Forge, not to buy and certainly not enough to rent a rowhome, current prices ranging from $1200 to $1800--that range covers one paycheck from JHU.
