Can't Wait To Move Out

Red Oak at Rodgers Forge just took over the management and I agree with everyone that the folks that were here a couple months ago WERE HORRIBLE. BAD MANNERS and BAD SERVICE. The problems we reported when we moved in are still the same problems we have now. The new management inherited the old database and is billing everyone incorrect balances due. Good news is the new management has been more responsive PRIOR to the incorrect billing letters they mailed out.... AND today I discovered that they will be SANDING OFF THE LEAD BASED PAINT in the entrances/halls/doorways of each builing. This is extremely worrisome as I see children everywhere-- the DUST is worse than just leaving it alone. Most tenants are Asian right now. Few speak English. Its a great neighborhood. Good schools. That must be why we are all here. Bad news is that we saw a mouse in the living room two weeks ago and there are millions of centipedes and spiders and other wierd bugs I've never seen before crawling all over the walls and floors. Don't know what to do but can wait to get out. Come into this place with your eyes open: you pay less and you get less. Good for college students I guess. I've seen quite a few move in lately. Oh and the condos they were selling didn't go as planned and so they lost the loan and that is why these apartments are back. Poor folks who were kicked out for the remodeling/sale phases!

I agree! I had to start recording every inquiry I made in regards to having the management company fix something. My fire alarm was going off for over two days, until someone came to fix it, and I had to call 9 times!!! They are not up to firecode. Furthermore, the place is infested. There are roaches inside and out. They did have a pest guy come once, but the roaches persist. I have resorted to battling them on my own with traps, borax, etc. This has helped. But I have also seen roaches outside at night on the sidewalk -large ones! They have fixed my kitchen fan three times, but for some reason they just replace it with another non-working fan. I cannot wait until my lease is up!
