I have lived at Rodgers Forge Apartments for 10 years now. When I first moved in the place was older, but VERY well kept, safe and quiet. Then in 2003 the place was sold and it has been a steady decline in service and upkeep.
Since I am in one of the older places, the management informed me that under no circumstances would there be any repairs to the unrenovated apartments. I have peeling plaster, a filthy and crumbling entryway, and to boot they moved the illegal immigrant workers that are doing the demolition move in to the empty apartments all around me. They actually set one of the buildings on fire a couple of weeks ago.
I looked at the new renovations and they are so sub-standard it is sickening. They are putting NO insulation in the new units, so be prepared for high heating and cooling bills.
If you move into this place, don't say you weren't warned.

i've been in one of the renovated apartments for almost a year. This poster and another one are right; the renovations are poor quality. Superficially, it looks great but when you inspect it closely, the shoddy workmanship is obvious. My summer cooling bill was quite high. I'm disappointed but circumstances right now make it hard for me to move so i'm stuck there for a while.

PMC Property Group purchased Rodgers Forge Apartments approximately a year and a half ago and underwent several staffing changes. As of January 2009 a great management, leasing and maintenance team was established and since that time we have made steady upgrades to the property as well as improvements to maintenance procedures and response time. Any maintenance requests or other concerns can be addressed to the property manager, Katie Burkhard at katieb@pmcpropertygroup.com or someone can be reached at the office, 410-377-2172. As for the construction, we are on the last two phases of the construction process and should be complete within the next year or so. Our management team works closely with the construction team to keep disturbances to a minimum. Any concerns regarding this can also be directed to Katie.

The demolition workers are not illegal aliens. They are EX-CONVICTS. They are recruited out of prison or jail or a soup kitchen. No joke.

I looked at these when they were trying to sell them as condos. They were EXPENSIVE for the shoddy product you got. I did not buy, but I read an article in the Towson Times about the handful of people that did buy and now they are stuck there living in a rental community because they are no longer selling them as condos. The article detailed how crappy the place was. I would maybe call the INS and have them do a check of the place - they may be interested in these "workers".
