I moved into building 7112 on Sandown Circle on November 4, 2007, and have had a pleasant experience my whole time here. The management has always been nice. Yes, it has changed from a girl named Latreece/Latrice, to one named Angela. Both have been very nice and helpful. The other office workers have changed too, and I have to say that they have all been very nice also. The first week I moved in my washer was making a funny noise and I brought it up to management. They sent the maintenance guy that day, and brought in a totally new washer.

One night, about 9 months ago, somebody on the floor above me put a crap load of paper towels into the toilet and it overflowed. Water was coming out of my smoke detector. (Weird, I know) The maintenance guy came within the hour (it was like 11pm) and fixed everything. He also noticed that the battery on my smoke detector was low, and replaced them the next day. Usually the tenant is supposed to do that.

The only problems I would have to say I had, was early in the beginning. I had somebody who lived above me that must have had kids, b/c you could hear them running around at all hours. That did not bother me since I can sleep though anything, but it did bother my wife. Besides that, I never heard anything except for an occasional door slam or car alarm. Also, the pool would get crowded with kids, but what do you expect?

I moved out on Feb 16, 2008 because my roommate moved out and I couldn't find another one and didn't want to pay for a 2 bdrm place myself. If Rolling Wind had been closer to my work, I happily would've stayed. I feel the price is great compared to other apartment complexes. The rent started off at $1015 and eventually went up $100, but I had a pretty big place compared to some of my friends staying in Columbia paying more than me for a 1 bdrm.

I do agree that further down the road can get a little ghetto, but overall, the area to me was decent, and I never experienced any crime. Being from another state I was worried about living even close to Baltimore, but I was very comfortable at this complex.
