Oh my gosh, where to begin... Well, first off I guess driving into the complex. The pavement is extreemly unkept, and literally falling apart. There are huge chunks of asphault laying around, and the potholes left behind are a nightmare. Upon parking the car and walking into the building, you're constantly harrassed by trashy folks asking for "fitty cent to ride the bus." When I told them no, they asked me for a date. As if!!!! I had to tell them that if they couldn't afford "fitty cent" for the bus, there was no way they could afford me!! Also there's dog crap laying all over the place. One of the residents puts their dog out on the lanai when they're not home, and the damn thing barks at everything, all hours of the day and night. When I called the office to complain, I had to leave a message and they never got back to me, and the barking problem hasn't changed either. Next, when you walk into the building, you immediately suffocate of stifeling heat and humidity as the "on-sight laundry facilities" are not vented to the outside. In order to vent the building, some residents prop the door open, which poses a whole other problem... RODENTS!!! I'll get to that in a second. The next thing before actually reaching your apartment that you'll notice is all the rubbish laying around the doors, and the mail area. Several times a week, someone is droping by to place flyers by each door. Some residents never pick theirs up, and they're left to pile up and look a mess. Ok, now back to the rodent problem. There are creepy snakes in the grassy areas. I realize probably native to this area, however instead of putting the play area for the kids in the grassy area, you'd think they'd upgrade it to wood chips, rubber, or something a little safer. Next there are bugs and mice in the apartments. Supposedly the complex has an exterminator that comes every Tuesday, however they've never been to my building, muchless my unit. I've been told by the office staff several times that the exterminator was in my unit and "sprayed." Every time they were supposed to have been here, I was home, and know for a fact they were not in my unit. Consiquently, I have been forced to live with rodents. What a dump!! The bathroom is extremely outdated. No to mention the caulk is coming up and molding around it as the fan is not in working order. One last thing is that some of the windows in my unit are plexy-glass!! Scratched filthy, and ill fitting plexy-glass. When the wind blows, it rattles the plexy-glass, and when it's hot it creeks in the heat. I can't wait to get out of this living situation!!
