I've sat back for a long time and debated should I write a review. I know I would want someone to warn me if something is wrong. Ross Ridge Apartments is the absolute worst apartments I've ever lived. There are many problems; from the office staff to the incompetent maintenance staff. I realize we all make mistakes, but there's a difference between 'mistakes' and 'incompeteance'. Though the office staff are pretty nice, they're not on the same page. You may ask something, and depending on that particular staff member, you will get a different response from another staff person. I would strongly suggest keeping notation of all conversations with them. The maintenance staff is the most pathetic I've ever seen -not to mention the constant lies, half-way fixing things, and I would strongly suggest NOT allowing the maintenance people to be in your apartment when you are NOT there - it's common knowledge that there's been theft from the maintenance staff. The apartments are not that bad - not that great either, but it will do. I also understand that this particular apartment complex has been sued by tenants and former tenants for mold, and other health issues, etc. It takes the maintenance staff forever to repair anything - whatever you do, do NOT allow them in your apartment when you're not there - you very well may have to make the repairs yourself. Office staff is nice, but not quite as incompetent as the maintenance staff, but they have their moments. I would strongly suggest to log or keep some sort of diary whenever you have ANY interaction with the rental office AND maintenance staff. You one day very well may need it for disputes, disagreements, conflicts, etc. I've been here now for 2 years and I've decided that I will be moving soon; it is simply getting worst here. How can anyone read all these reviews and not take heed' And I notice that there's one who gave a RAVE review recently- I would strongly doubt if it's a tenant; most likely one of the staff pretending. Look elsewhere - if not, you most likely will regret it. Oh, and I almost forgot a HUGE bug and rodent problem.
