Stratton Meadows

I have been living in an apartment under the townhomes in Stratton Meadows for a little over a year and can't wait to leave!!! There is no insulation in the walls and floors so i can hear everything from my neighbors. And I mean everything, sex, phone calls, televisions, you name it! The apartment is situated under 2 townhomes. One neighbor has 3 dirty kids that run, kick, scream, jump and NEVER sit down and on top of that she loves to blast her music all day long. I tried to be friendly and approach her about it but that was a bad idea. She was ghetto and rude as if I was causing her harm. So I reported it to the leasing office who assured me they would handle it. But nothing ever changed. I've had to call 911 on her numerous times. One time she actually knocked on the door because she was upset about me calling the police and threatened me. Again I let the leasing office know and they did nothing once again. I understand the walls are thin but if you know this why would you let your kids run around over someone's heaad all day long'''
Needless to say, I hate living here. In addition to the noise, there are wayyyy tooo many ants and spiders and the appliances are the dirtiest things I've ever seen. I would not recommend this place to a homeless person. Seriously reconsider if you are thinking of this place.

There is mold all over the place. Have you been flooded out yet? When I was living there(2005)it happen to me on two occasions. A sink over top of my son's room (2nd bedroom) overflowed and down ...came all the water. That place sucks. My 2 sons and I ran from there when the ceiling came down. It looked like blacket carpet was in the ceiling. I was so discouraged. My brother told me when I moved in that he smelled mildew, but instead of turning around and leaving I stayed. Almost, everynight I wheezed myself to sleep. I used so many inhalers there, it was funny . A Northwest Hospital doctor told me, "Maam, you have been here all to frequent what is going on" A judge at Catonsville told them to get rid of the mold & mildew...all they did was come out and bleach.
