We wanted to stay in Bolton Hill and found this place. Our first impression was not great - the hallways smelled like smoke and old carpeting. The bi-level apartment that we moved into, however, is very spacious in the bedroom and upstairs living/dining room. The kitchen, unfortunately, is tiny, the refrigerator never stops rattling, parts of the cheap plastic countertop keep falling off, the stove doesn't always work, and the oven hasn't worked in two months.

Now for the bad part. Management sucks. We call them constantly because something is always broken. They are slow and unresponsive. They like tenants to write maintenance requests and put them in a box. It's like sending stuff into a blackhole. Nothing ever gets done unless you call multiple times. When you do call about a previous request, they act surprised like they have no idea what you're talking about. One time, we had maintenance people in our kitchen replacing a light and they dropped the light on the ground. Shards of glass went everywhere. You know what they did' They took off. And never came back. Never cleaned it up. We complained. Nothing hapened. We cleaned it up ourselves.

Hot water is unpredictable, and so far, the heating in the apartment doesn't work. There is free parking, but no assigned spots.

It is located in Bolton Hill, which is the biggest plus. Bottom line, location and price are good. But I guarantee, you will have problems with your apartment and you will become extremely frustrated with the management. Not worth the headache.
