The actual apartments are okay; the architecture is nice, but they have not been maintained. The kitchens and bathrooms are outdated and tiny, and all of the work is sub-standard. The management staff is horrible, even with the new "benefits" of being a Signature Community. Because of the "benefits", the rent has gone up with no increase in service or standard of living. Their 24 hour maintenance guarantee does not actually exist. For each maintenance request submitted, expect to have to ask at least 3 additional times, and you will still get a sub-par repair job. They have recently advertised being "green", but the apartment does not even have a recycling program (even though many residents have requested it). Bolton Hill is a wonderful place to live, but pick an apartment by another management company or a privately owned house.
