If I wanted McDonalds I would have went to McDonalds. That is the best way to discribe my experiance at the Crescent, I lived there for a year and my expectaions were not met, not even close. I paid the high price for the sevices and social aspects that were represented and expected and they were not met. When there were social events instead of Brie, Stilton and Lox there was Cheezwiz, Pace and pretzels (really, no joke). Only excuses with no applogies were given.

Ha ha ha - it is funny because it is so true!!! The social events actually used to be fun, which was nice when we first moved in and knew very few people in the area - wine tastings, one time a restaurant from Little Italy came... but recently it has been cheezwiz, pretzels and a bottle of vodka with a carton of OJ! HA! The other night it was a cheese plate and a wing plate! What a joke for a "luxury" apartment!

They are allowing riff-raff into this building now to fill vacancies, and it's going downhill big time. There was dog poop in my hallway the other day. People let their pets pee in the elevator, etc. It's turning into HUD housing at a very high pricetag for some.

YOU'RE a joke. Who saids the community has to feed you??? I would take pretzels anyday if its free....oh yeah, BY THE WAY.... the "brie and lox" you want just made your rent go up. In a crashing economy why shouldn't they be more conservative??

Hey, "pretzels anyday" guy...You dont't get it...You are paying for the pretzels, except you are paying for brie and lox and don't even realize it...wake up... See, that is what was represented and what you bought but your are not getting..From the web site to what you are sold by the leasing agents you are not getting what you have already and continue to pay for! It would be like paying for extras in a new car, like leather seats, great speakers and wheels and not getting them. Again, I/we have already paid for this stuff as represented and even after complaining for a year we do not and have not gotten what we already have paid for! Following your reasoning, why are you paying so much and not demanding you get what you pay for? Kinda dumb if you ask me..

why are you suprised that managment is so cheap? have you taken a good look at the property manager and most who work here? ALL are very low-rent kind of people.

The community does not have to feed me dumb@ss. You completely missed the point. They jack up the rent by STILL, almost 2 years later, adverstising things such as "Mountain Bikes, Trainers, On site Social Director" blah blah blah. It is false advertising. Once again, people from out of town get duped by this sort of thing - moving to a big city is not easy, so this all sounds very attractive. You find out very quickly what a load of crap it all is. They should keep the "free pretzels" and use the money to clean up the dog poop in the hallways!
