I moved in 4-2-04 because of the 1st month free, pool, fitness center, and balcony.
Well let me tell you - the balcony lets in more bugs: silverfish, spiders, mosquitos and you cant find curtains or vinyl blinds to fit it cause its such an odd size.
The pool is filled with cicadas.
The fitness center is only open 9-5. So who gets to use it' Preschool children'
Oh and there are lots of children! Running around outside all hours. I can hardly hear my TV.
And I have mice! I have for a month now. I put it in writing, requested extermination. They came. 2 days later I see one crawling out of my stove! If that isnt the worst - having mice in your kitchen, how unsanitary! I came home from being out of town for 4 days thinking the problem was solved and whats all over my kitchen counters when I come home' Mouse poop! I dont know about you but Ive had my bed inhabited by mice before and its not pretty. I refuse to deal with it. Im on the 2nd floor too so I know its not just my apartment and its the middle of summer - imagine what is gonna be like come winter - a mouse hotel.
Hence why Im on this site - its only been 3 months since I moved in and Im looking for a new apartment. And I will be breaking my lease if they dont take care of this problem.
Oh yeah, and did I mention the noise' All the floors creek. I can hear every step the person upstairs takes so much so that sometimes Im convinced that there is someone in my apartment! Its scary!
I pay $573/mo for a bug and mouse ridden apartment, a cicada filled pool, a fitness center I cant use and an apartment that Im scared to live in. OVERALL: NOT WORTH IT!
