I would NOT recommend living in this building to anyone, but I will admit that I lived here for three years. It was definitely adequate, and given that most apartments are relatively expensive downtown, it is priced fairly. However, I had many problems and seriously considered moving every year, but since I'm from the west coast, I didn't want to deal with the hassel of purchasing furniture.
Management is TERRIBLE, they are completely incompetent individuals. My roommates and I had problems with getting notices about mail (boxes and flowers are delivered to the front office, which closes at 5 pm). They were very power hungry and did not respond well to residents reporting problems. Many of my friends moved out because they were so disgusted by the management. The apartments themselves aren't horrible, but carpet and walls are stained, and furniture isn't the greatest. There is limited parking in the building, which they didn't tell me before I moved in - I had to park in lexington market where commuter students park, which is about three blocks away. Getting groceries into the building was difficult. The laundry machines don't always work and they claim no responsibility for them, so if it eats your money or doesn't work - your problem.
Maintenance is wonderful and turn around time for getting something fix was awesome. Another plus, I always felt pretty safe, which is important in Baltimore. Other than that, I'm really glad that I had great roommates to commiserate with about this building.
