It was...ok...

The apartment itself was nice. Hardwood floor, very spacious. However, it did have its problems.
When we first moved in we were assured by the landlady at that time (since they've changed so often) that there would not be a pest problem and that the building was exterminated every year. That was not true- we've had problems with mice coming in and out of our stove/range in the kitchen. We were very neat (3 girls), so we didn't understand why they would be in our apartment.
As previously mentioned, the landlord would change every couple of months or so. In the 2 years that we lived there we've gone through 7 landlords. There was one year where it seemed that they changed every 2 months, literally. Some didn't know what they were doing and slapped court orders at the first late payment, and some were very nice. The current one seems to have stayed for 4 months now (which is a record in my book.)
We've also had our share of maintenence problems (sink/bathtub clogs, electricity outages), but the maintenance staff has been really great. They're really friendly and helpful, if you can catch one of them. Cliff, the main person who has been there for several years, is absolutely fantastic. If it weren't for him I'm sure the place would fall apart in no time.
Since it's right next to the JHU campus, sometimes things can get a little loud on the weekend from all the parties, but the area is definitely safer than the surrounding neighborhoods, especially with campus security hanging there recently.
Overall, although the place did have its share of problems, it wasn't too bad.
