I'm thinking most apartment living is less than ideal - people stomping overhead, loud music, etc., but you shouldn't have to deal with consistently poor maintenance, ants, etc. I have kept each tag that was left by a maintenance person and I must have 15 - in less than 10 months. It's not unusual to call several times before they finally get a repair completed properly. Maintenance appears to not want to do more than they can get away with. And why is there a huge maintenance crunch to get air conditioners working properly when it's hot out' Anyone ever hear of anticipating these things' It's not like summer is a new experience in Baltimore. Neighbors are another issue...consideration for others is a thing of the past. The sidewalks were not cleared in a timely manner and I watched a woman carry a child across very icy pavement...don't think she had a choice. I'm moving on to greener pastures.
