A great apartment for UMBC students

I've been living in Walker Avenue Apartments for a few years now, as I've been working on a masters degree at UMBC. I have to move out at the end of this semester, since I'll be graduating soon thereafter. Also I'm getting a little too old to still be living on campus :)
Walker Ave is intended for students that want to live on campus, but want to be a little more independent than the dorms would allow. There are still RA's and campus-life activities if you prefer them, or you can just ignore them like I did for the most part. There's a separate stack of apartments for grad students, which is where I was - I think it's a little bit quieter and more studious there.
I haven't had any major problems to speak of. My biggest complaint was parking. There's a parking lot right behind the building, but during the semester it's always full. You usually have to park further away on campus. I also wish they had 1BR apartments; both of my assigned roommates have been decent respectful people, but I'd prefer not to have any at this point
There are a lot of positives to mention. First it's super-convenient to be right here on campus (although I'm somehow still late for almost every class haha). The area seems pretty safe, well lit at night, and well maintained. The apartments are furnished, have a W/D in each unit, and have ready-to-use cable TV and high speed internet connections. They're only a few years old, so they're not falling apart. The noise level is surprisingly low. The only wall that seems thin is the one between my bedroom and my roommate's bedroom - I can hear the bass from his music even if he has the volume way down. The maintenance staff seem to be pretty on top of things, and the desk staff too.
I think I pay something like $750 a month for a bedroom in a 2BR. That seems really decent compared to the prices of the other places I've seen around here. Especially when most of their reviews are to the effect of "Hell on Earth" and "Stay Away". Honestly I'm a little frightened to be moving out into the real world in a few months, after having such an easy time here.
Lastly, I would like to say thanks to a friend who helped me find this place. She was killed a couple of years ago in an accident. Without her I wouldn't have considered it.

This doesn't look like a real review. The gibberish at the end is probably the result of an automated program having put it up-you don't see that on the other reviews. I'm gonna hazard a guess that this place really does suck.

Nope, it's a real review. I'm the same "anonymous" who wrote it a couple years ago. I'm not sure why you consider my dedication at the end to be gibberish, or why you've deemed my review to be automated. Maybe we're all automated by some binding force, but that's a philosophical issue. I still stand by my review, although other folks appear to have much different sentiments than me about this place
