This place gets a bad rep, but it's not so bad.

I live in a 2BR TH. It was the best price for the area, and they are pet friendly, even to large breed dogs which was hard for us to find in this area. BTW, there is no additional security deposit or monthly fee for pets. TH's are small, very narrow. Appliances are old and kitchen is extremely small - no counter space. We ended up buying additional kitchen cabinets from goodwill because we could survive with no countertops at all. Everything in the place has been painted about 100 times, layers of paint peel off of the walls and cabinets. We also had a roach problem when we moved in, had exterminators out and also sprayed and set out our own traps...seems to have taken care of the problem. Pluses are that the maintenence staff are very helpful and will come out within an hour of making a call. Get a TH close to the street if you can, we are surrounded by families and kids. Some parts of the neighborhood are not as nice and have more teenagers and college students, different atmosphere. Overall, not bad for what you pay for, can be fixed up to be pretty nice if you want to put some work into it.
