I have been reading over everyone's reviews and I noticed that pretty much everyone has said that when they got into their apartment it wasn't what they were told it would be. I believe one person said that they were told they were getting a remolded town house and they didn't. A couple of others said that the fridge and the cabnets were a mess or broken, etc. And a few others said that the screens fell out of the windows so they couldn't leave the windows open and I believe one lady said that she didnt have a screen period in her back door. And, one lady said that the steps were so creeky they sounded like they were a hundred years old.

Now I know when pretty much all of you went to go rent this town house you probably sat down with one of the managers or who have you and you probably saw a model town house. After looking over everything you probably, you know had to do the credit check and the background check and you decided you wanted to rent this town house... didn't everyone who signed that lease atleast take a GOOD look at what it was that they were signing a contract for'

I know when I rented my last apartment I took a walk threw the actual apartment that I was going to be getting and I tested everything. I flushed the toilets, tested the lights & the outlet sockets, turned on the water, tested the windows (and the screens) plus looked for any damages (paint, carpeting, ceilings, etc.)that were in the apartment and I made a note of everything with the manager when we walked thru and had everything documented in the contract that I signed and what I wanted fixed. I made it a point that everything documented was fixed (plus did another walk thru just to be sure) before I signed that contract.

I guess my question to help me out to everyone that lives or has lived in whispering woods town houses is did you do that' Did you personally walk thru the actual town house you were signing a contract for and look GOOD and test everything before signing your names on that dotted line' If anyone could please help me out with this and let me know please... to possibly save me from the same nightmare.
