Just having this community next to mine is still bad. I get woken up by a police helicopter circling Whispering Woods and shining a spotlight through our neighborhood about once a month, I see drug deals on the road leading into our neighborhood from people walking across the field from Whispering Woods to meet people on our enterence road, there's at least one dumped stolen car on our enterence road per week (I call the police and report the tags and find them to be stolen), and on summer evenings I've heard gunfire and what sounded like riots coming from that neighborhood. We've also had people in our neighborhood get robbed at knifepoint and have things stolen, most likely due to residents of, or people associated with residents of Whispering Woods. I'm also unable to order food from most places in Middle River (papajohns, pizza hut, etc.) who we're very close to, and they deliver food further in all other directions, but wont come this far up Eastern Ave. because Whipsering Woods is right next to us, so don't count on getting any food deliveries IN Whispering Woods. I also see Police Cars constantly coming and going while driving past, you'd think there was a Precinct in there or something. Oh, and lastly, one of the addresses in Whipsering Woods, specifically 67 Ambo Cir. shows up in the yellow pages as a "personal escort service" called Sweet Sensations. I'm sure thats what you want your kids around. When I first moved into Biscayne Bay, I turned into Whispering Woods once to turn around, and it pretty much looked like a Demilitarized Zone.

Update: There's a police helicopter hovering around shining a spotlight into this neighborhood as I type this.

This is really true. The police should have their own sub staiton here. The MGT don't care about the residents. It's now a heavy section-8 area, baby momma, baby daddy, drugs r us, and bad a$$ kids zone. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT MOVING HERE!

I was considering getting a home in Biscayne Bay but I may not now. Biscayne looks like such a nice place - but not worth it if Sec 8 folks from Whispering Woods come rob my home while I am out working for a living.

It's crazy because people like to compare the city and the county but if you live here you are no better off than people in the owrst part of the city. Whispering Woods is DEE GHETTO, even if the rent was a penny I wouldn't step foot back there again.

There is no difference from the drug deals going down in Whispering Woods from the DRUG DEALERS/RUNNERS that live in Biscayne Bay. Just because you dont know that its happening does not mean that it isnt. I keep hearing how hood it is, what are any of you complainers doing to restore order to YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD? Not a damn thing.... just buying weed from the weedman on Ambo and sparking it up while you watch it go down like young joc. When I was in Whispering Woods, it was fine. If I saw something I didnt like I SAID SOMETHING, just like I would ANYWHERE IVE EVER LIVED. If you continue to watch the BS happen, that is what it will do. Oh, and just to let EVERYONE KNOW... most of you county folk go into the city to buy your drugs.... so that no one from the "hood neighborhood" can identify you when you are getting into your car you are scared will get stolen in front of the house you are scared someone will rob. Your crackhead friends are the ones breaking into your homes. Contrary to popular belief, the drug dealers have enough money to buy the things you think they are stealing. You make 50K a yr.... you spend about 20K of that with the drug dealers.... I think they have no need to steal.

Veracious 1. I must agree with you. I have lived there since feb 06. Yes the first year or so was a little rough. It was bad enough that I was about to leave after 3 mos. But I stuck it out. They have really cleaned out all the bad weeds. Its not as bad as everyone is making it out. If you don't live there how are you going to say stupid crap like that. You have drug dealers every where honey. My kids are fine there. The mgmt can sometimes slack off, but eventually the job is done and it is all on who you talk with in the office. People need to know facts before you slander this place name ask someone who actually lives there. I know and they keep this place clean and well kept. I can tell you that which is the truth. They have people in there every weekday morning picking up trash and every thursday they are there cutting grass deweeding and doing whatever else. This place is not that bad to live in. This is coming from someone who has lived there since 2009....

As an update, and partial reply to the last two responses, I have sense moved away, but since I left, a neighbor in Biscayne Bay has been mugged, twice, with the mugger being found in Whispering Woods in one of the cases, and another neighbor caught a (hopefully) stray bullet in their car door, about an inch down from going through the window and hitting them, while passing Whispering Woods on Eastern BLVD.
