I've had so many issues since I moved to this place that I don't know where to start. It started with the move in date 8 months ago. When I went to look at my new apartment and drop off a few things I had in my car, the apartment had not been cleaned and I was not going to be able to move in that day, even though all my things were packed and ready. I spoke with management and they brought someone in to clean up, but I was still delayed for 4 hours until they finished. The next day I woke up to loud gospel music at 7am, and then was followed by rap music from the neighbors on the other side for the rest of the day. I made a complain to the front office and was told to call the police because they couldn't do anything other than send them a letter telling them their noise was disturbing. While cleaning the kitchen cabinets and unapcking dishes I found a box of ammo and some shell casings. After it started to get cold, I found out the heat was not working. It took 4 days for them to "fix it". An old man came by 5 times, and each time left saying that he'd come back with the guy that knew what he was doing. I now have to turn the heat up to 90 degrees in order to warm up the house, which is doing wonders for my gas and electric bill. When it was time to give my daughter a bath that night, I got yet another suprise. The water is so brown that you have to run it for 5 minutes before it clears up. I called the office to ask if there would be a problem with me installing a filter since I didn't trust that water. They told me I was to make no alterations or I'd be charged. I'd rather risk being charged than die of a skin decease. The worse part of it is, I'm paying for water every month. I recently witnessed my next door neighbor being jumped by 10 neighborhood kids. I heard screaming and went outside only to see the neighbors looking at the fight and saying nothing. the policy drove past after the fight was over and did nothing.I have a neighbor on one side who leaves animal bones on my door step and on the other side the neighbor who has a different "date" every night and I have to call the police on when they take the party upstairs. A few nights ago there was a van parked outside, with a guy sitting inside smoking and drinking while his friend went inside the neighbor's house. I've come home many days to find a group of teenagers hanging out outside my door, but when I call th epolicy they don't even show up. It seems as if the policy don't even want to get involved. I could go on and on about this place but to sum it up, don't move in here. You can't say you were not warned. I wish I would've read this site before making my decision. No offense to the people on section 8, but if I would've known this place takes in section 8 people, I would've kept driving. I'm counting down the next 4 months. I've already signed a lease elsewhere. I'll drive off and never look back. Don't waste your money by moving into this dump.
